HOW TO USE e-bub

INTRODUCTION: e-bub is simple to use. Even if you know only a little about computers, you will discover e-bub is just the ticket for you. Put your pictures on the internet. Chat with your friends. Buy and sell personal items. It's easy, simple and free.

BROWSE: Anyone can browse e-bub. You don't have to register or sign-up or anything. If you just want to "look around," go ahead, and enjoy. It costs you nothing.

REGISTER: To place an ad, announcement, or just a plain say "How Do!" you must register. Registering is both simple and easy. First click on the word "register" at the bottom of the screen. Second, fill in about 5-6 blank boxes. Third, go to your email and retrieve your password. Fourth, go to e-bub and type in your user name e.g., Mary, Bob, etc., and password. Fifth, you are a registered user!

PUTTING ADS & PHOTOS ON e-bub: When you place an ad, announcement, etc., on e-bub, you will be asked if you want to "upload" a picture. This means, "do you want to place a picture on the internet with your ad - on e-bub?" If so, after you have written your ad and clicked the "submit button," you will see a "Browse button." When you click on the "browse button" you will be taken to your own computer's files. Once there you can go to your "My Pictures" folder and select a picture. Click on the picture and then click on the "Upload button" on your screen. After a few seconds your picture will be on the internet with your ad. Also, you will receive a notice that says "Upload complete" and a button that says "continue." Click on the "continue button" to return to e-bub. After about 1 minute your picture will appear with your ad on e-bub. If, after you have clicked the "submit button" to submit your ad, you do not want to post a picture, simply click the"Search Ads button," to see if your ad is listed - if it is great - if it's not then you clicked the wrong button somewhere. Simply start again...its not really that difficult at all. Like everything else the first time you try it out it seems "mysterisous" and "untouchable." Don't worry, you can't break e-bub!

HOW DO I FIND MY AD & PICURE: e-bub has a "categories" page. It is the first thing you see after clicking on the "free classified ads" button on the homepage. Simply keep clicking on the "category" you selected until you see your ad. Very quickly you'll see your ad and or picture.

CHATROOM: e-bub's chatroom is a courtesy from our hosting company. We do not control what is said in the chatroom. It is a service from e-bub to Midland. You can write to each other in "real time." Simply select a user name. Then write out your comments in the box provided. Hit enter. Your comments are posted immediately - no delay. It's like talking with someone. Because the chatroom is totally free, if it is discovered that it is being abused we will track your IP address (for you computer folks!) and report you to the authorities. The chatroom is a service that is meant to help, not hurt, the Midland community. Generally, just be a good neighbor.

USER NAME & PASSWORD & ADS: Your user name should be unique so you are not confused with someone else. Try something like "nicelady" or "nascarman" when selecting a user name. After you have registered, you can change your password to whatever you prefer. Try to make it something you will remember. If you forget just click the I "forgot my password button" and we'll send it to you. You are in control of your ads. You can place as many ads as you like for as long you like. However, if your ad isn't being successful, or is "outdated," you should change it or remove it yourself. With e-bub you are in control of your ads. If after a reasonable period of time your ads remain dormant or outdated on e-bub, we will remove them.

FINAL NOTE: e-bub is free to Midland's social community. We will never charge anyone a penny nor will we ever SPAM anyone. We believe e-bub is the answer to a long held request to have "free" access to the internet to post social interests of various kinds.
